"The Last Stand" is a movie featuring the ex-governor of California, and the catchphrase is "Retirement is for sissies." "The Kids Police(コドモ警察)" is a Japanese movie featuring Fuku Suzuki(鈴木福), an eight-year-old boy. The catchphrase of the movie is "Grow up, man!(いいかげん大人になれよ!)" I found these movie posters at a theater in Ikebukuro, and I thought this arrangement was so funny. Cynical in a way.
Hey Schwarzenegger, I'm sorry but you shouldn't be back. I don't wanna see your movies anymore, except "The Expendables 2."

I feel the same way about you on this subject! He failed as Governor and his last movie tanked. Being from California I think he should just retire from movies just like politics.
ReplyDeleteMaybe he can start doing auto insurance commercials like William Shatner. There is no shame in getting old I think.
I WAS a big fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and I didn't want him to be a politician. To me, he wasn't a politician, he was an actor. Now, he is neither a politician nor an actor. He is NOT Arnold Schwarzenegger after all.
DeleteI'm sure most Japanese don't even know he had an inappropriate relationship with his maid. The news about his love child dissapointed me deeply.
